When processing HDR photos, CubiCasa combines multiple exposures into a single finished image. If photos were grouped incorrectly during upload, the results may have quality issues, such as ghosting, overlapping details, or images from different scenes being merged.
The Correct Grouping feature allows you to review your original photo groups, fix grouping errors, and resubmit photos for processing without creating a new order.
When to Use Correct Grouping
If you notice unexpected results in your finished photos, incorrect source grouping may be the cause. Common signs include:
Ghosting or overlapping objects caused by images from different scenes being merged.
Unusual image quality resulting from incorrect exposures being combined.
Missing or misplaced photos within an HDR bracket group.
Accessing Correct Grouping
Once your Photo Editing order has been delivered and its status is Ready, there are two ways to access the correction tools.
Option 1: From Uploaded Photos
Navigate to your Order Details page and open the Photo Editing tab.
Select Uploaded photos to review the original photo groups.
Click Correct Grouping.
Option 2: From a Finished Photo
Navigate to Photo Editing → Finished photos.
Click a photo to open the image viewer.
Expand Source Brackets in the right-hand panel to review the original images used.
Click Correct Grouping.
Correcting Your Photo Groups
Once in correction mode, you can reorganize your original images to ensure the correct photos are processed together.
Select the photo group you want to correct.
In the Group Management panel, select the individual images you want to move using the checkboxes.
Click Modify Grouping and choose a destination:
Existing Group: Move the selected images into another photo group.
Create New Group: Create a separate group using the selected images.
Click Continue to apply the grouping change.
Repeat as needed until your photos are organized correctly.
Click Submit to send your corrected groups for reprocessing.
Tip: Review your groups before submitting to ensure each contains the correct images and exposures. The number of groups that will be reprocessed is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
Adding Missing Photos to a Group
If an existing group is missing one or more source photos, you can upload the missing images directly into that group.
Select the group that needs additional images.
Click Add More Photos in the Group Management panel.
Select the missing source images to add to the group.
Important: Adding photos within Grouping Correction is intended for completing or correcting existing groups. If you have additional scenes or entirely new batches of images to submit, use Add More Photos from your Order Details page instead.
Reprocessing Your Corrected Photos
After you click Submit, CubiCasa will use the updated groups to generate new finished images.
While corrections are being processed, affected images will be temporarily unavailable in the Finished photos gallery. They will become available again once processing is complete and your order returns to Ready status. You can then review the updated results and download your finished photos.
