Most texts can be styled on your floor plans. As you can see in the example below, space labels, including measurements, and floor labels can be styled to match your brand or simply give a nice touch and personality to your floor plans.
This style is based on the Earth tone style we provide and enriched with Lobster Two font in sienna.
What Text Can I Customize?
Personalizing your floor plan text allows you to match your brand guidelines or add a unique touch to your deliveries. You can define separate styles for the following elements:
Floor Plan Labels: This includes all space labels, room measurements, and floor labels. All of these elements are bound to the same visual style.
Disclaimer Text: Because disclaimers are often longer, readability is highly important. You can define a completely separate style for your disclaimer text to ensure it remains legible.
How to Change Text Styles
To update your fonts, colors, and text casing, you will need to access the styling tool in your account.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Log in to the CubiCasa web portal.
Click on Styling in the left-hand navigation menu.
Click on Create Style to build a new template, or click on the three dots (⋯) > View to edit an existing style.
Scroll down the style settings page until you locate Labels text style and Disclaimer text style.
Click on either option to open the editing menu.
Make your desired adjustments to the font settings.
Click OK to validate your choices and view a recap of your selections on the main screen.
Scroll to the bottom of the main styling page and click Save.
Important: You must click Save on the main screen after pressing OK, or your style changes will be lost!
Font Customization Options
When editing your text styles, you have several options to ensure the output matches your preferences:
Font Family
Our default system font is Verdana, but you can choose any font available on Google Fonts by scrolling through or typing the name in the list. We suggest you visit the service to see and test how it could look, and it will also help you with the second option.
Font Style
Depending on the font chosen, you can adjust the weight (boldness) or use italics. Important: If your chosen font does not offer an italic option in our list, you will need to select a different font. We strongly advise testing your desired font and styles on Google Fonts before applying them here.
Font Color
You can choose a specific text color using the color picker or by entering a hexadecimal (hex) code. Note: Remember that your floor plan will have spaces with different background colors. For example, green text might look great on a white background, but it may be very hard to read over wet spaces that have a blue background.
Font Casing
Casing impacts readability, which is especially important for your disclaimer. You can choose from the following casing options:
"title": Every Word Has Its First Letter Capitalized
"sentence": Only the first word has its first letter capitalized
"uppercase": ALL WORDS HAVE ALL LETTERS CAPITALIZED
"lowercase": no capital letters at all
Validating your choices
Once you've pressed OK, you'll see the recap of your choices on the main screen.
But you still need to save the style's changes! So remember to scroll down and press save.
FAQ
Can I style the total area measurement info text?
Currently, you cannot style the total area measurement info text. We are working on updates for this element and will introduce styling options for it in the future. In the meantime, we restrict styling on this element to ensure the total area remains clearly readable for all users.
Can I customize the font on my Home Report?
Currently, the Home Report uses the Roboto font by default and cannot be customized at the moment.
