Styling Tab
You can easily adapt your floor plans and Home Reports to match your personal branding or local naming conventions by creating custom style templates.
How to Access and Create a Style Template
To access your styling options and begin customizing your templates, follow these steps:
Log in to your account from the website.
Click on the Styling tab on the left side of your screen.
View your existing custom templates to edit them, or click on the Create New button at the top right to build a new template.
Customization Options
When you create or edit a template, you can customize a variety of settings to achieve your desired look.
Basic Settings
Style Name
Give your template a name to make it easier to identify.
Language
Select the language you would like to see on your floor plan. There are English variations available to adapt to your local naming convention.
Units
Choose between Metric (e.g., 2.5m x 1.8m), Imperial (e.g., 7’6″ x 3’4″), or Both units.
You can read more about it here.
Logo
Add or update the logo you would like displayed on your floor plans.
Logo Upload Guidelines:
Dimensions: 256x256 px
Orientation: Horizontal (maximizes display area)
Formatting: Crop tightly with no empty margins (images are automatically scaled to 512 px, so extra space reduces logo size)
Default Style
Here you can select a default style if you wish.
Custom Colors
You can personalize the colors for 9 specific components. To choose a color, you can click on the color picker, enter the Hex code, or enter the RGB code.
Wall color: Selects the color of all internal and external walls.
Outdoor color: Selects the color for all outdoor areas like balconies, decks, patios, and porches.
Bedroom color: Selects the color for all pre-defined labels with the word "BEDROOM" (e.g., BEDROOM, GUEST BEDROOM).
Room label color: Selects the color of the labels for all labels on your floor plan.
Pool color: Selects the pool’s color.
Floor color: Selects the color for all rooms that do not use pre-defined labels, as well as all custom labels you enter.
Wet space color: Selects the color for all pre-defined labels with the word "BATH", as well as spaces labeled SHOWER ROOM and SAUNA.
Background color: Selects the background color of your floor plan, which is white by default.
Fixed furniture color: Selects the color for all your furniture. This is only applied if the “No fill fixed furniture” setting is NOT ticked.
Important: The colors are defined according to the Space Type selected. A Space Type is the actual "nature" of the space, such as "FullBath," "bedroom," "basement," etc.
Changing the label won't necessarily change the space type; therefore, you might also need to correct the space type to reflect reality. So if a room has the wrong color, we advise checking its space type. You can find more info about it here.
How to Add Transparency
When using the color picker, you also have the ability to adjust the opacity of any selected color. Simply move the transparency slider (located just below the color spectrum) to set a color to be entirely transparent (0%) or adjust it to your preferred percentage of opacity.
Resolution
Here you can select the best resolution for your floor plans. You have 4 options, they are:
4:3 – 4000x3000px (high resolution)
4:3 – 2000x1500px (web optimized)
3:2 – 4000x2667px (high resolution)
3:2 – 2000x1333px (web optimized)
Display Elements
Door swing angle
Select any angle between 0 to 90 degrees by typing it or using the arrow keys.
Measurement Arrow
If the box is ticked this means the arrows will be shown on the floor plan.
If the box is NOT ticked this means the arrows will NOT be shown on the floor plan.
No fill fixed furniture
If ticked, furniture will have the same color as the room they are in. If not ticked, furniture will use the "Fixed furniture color".
Add estimated total area element to the floor plan
If the box is ticked, it will display the Total Area / Gross Internal Area (GIA) for all scans made with the CubiCasa App (with the exception of the LITE package).
If you select the “GLA (if purchased)”, it will show the Gross Living Area (GLA) data, but the order needs to have the GLA Add-on purchased.
Add a compass to the floor plan
If ticked, a compass is added to the plan.
You can find more details about this feature here.
Disclaimers and Home Report Settings
Disclaimer Text
Personalize a floor plan disclaimer up to a maximum of 85 characters.
If left empty, it uses our default text ("MEASUREMENTS ARE CALCULATED BY CUBICASA TECHNOLOGY. DEEMED HIGHLY RELIABLE BUT NOT GUARANTEED.").
Any text you enter will overwrite the default.
Important: CubiCasa takes no responsibility for the disclaimers or changes you make.
Show logo in the Home Report
You can choose to include your branding on your Home Reports.
If the box is ticked, the logo you previously uploaded in the "Logo" section will be displayed on your Home Report.
If the box is NOT ticked, your logo will not appear on the Home Report.
Show disclaimer text in the Home Report
You can also personalize a disclaimer text specifically for your Home Report.
If the box is ticked, a disclaimer will be added to the report. You will then be prompted to choose between two options:
Same as floor plan disclaimer text: Select this button to automatically carry over the disclaimer you already configured for your floor plans.
Enter your disclaimer text: Select this button to type a unique disclaimer just for the Home Report. Similar to the standard floor plan disclaimer, this custom text supports a maximum of 85 characters.
If the box is NOT ticked, no disclaimer text will be displayed on the Home Report.
