If you need to rename a floor, update whether a level is above or below grade, or reposition floor labels on your finished layout, you can make these changes using the QuickEdit tool.
How to Adjust Above or Below Grade Status
Automatic detection identifies basements and below-grade floors, but property specificities or local measurement rules may occasionally require manual corrections.
To update the grade status of a floor:
Open the floor plan with Quick Edit.
Select the floor you wish to edit.
Click on the above/below grade icon.
Confirm the change.
Press the save button to validate your changes.
How to Rename Floor Labels
Depending on property architecture or regional preferences, floor names can be updated to match your required terminology.
To change a floor name:
Open the floor plan with Quick Edit.
Select the Floor: All Floors.
Double-click on the floor label you want to edit.
Type in the wanted label.
Press the save button to validate your changes.
How to Move Floor Labels
You can manually reposition floor labels on your plan to improve readability.
To move a floor label:
Open the floor plan with Quick Edit.
Select the Floor: All Floors.
Click (do not double-click) on the floor label until the cursor changes to a directional cross.
Click the label and maintain the click while moving the label around.
Release the click to save the position of the label.
Press the save button to validate your changes.
Important: The floor label position in the GLA Report or GLA floor plan cannot be changed. It is automatically placed.
