🚨 Critical: Do NOT delete the CubiCasa app. Deleting the app will permanently delete your unsent scan. We will not be able to recover it.
Quick Fix: Upload Stuck at 0%?
If your upload is stuck at 0%, try cancelling it and starting again — this resolves the issue in most cases. Tap Cancel Upload, then restart the upload process.
Step-by-Step Troubleshooting
If your scan still won't upload, please try the following steps one by one:
1. Connect to a Strong Wi-Fi Network
Weak or unstable connections are the most common cause of upload failures. Make sure you are on a stable, high-speed Wi-Fi network — a home or office connection is strongly recommended over cellular data. Restarting your router or toggling Wi-Fi off and on can also help.
2. Check Your Payment Method
Ensure you have an active payment method on file. If you don't, add one and try uploading again. For help, see our article on Payment Method & Credit Card Information.
3. Restart and Update the App
Hard reset the app: Close it completely (swipe it away from your background apps) and reopen it.
Restart your device: Turn your phone or tablet fully off and back on.
Update the app: Check the App Store or Google Play Store to make sure you're running the latest version of CubiCasa.
4. Verify Your Date & Time Settings
Incorrect time settings can interfere with our servers. Make sure your device is set to update the time automatically:
iOS: Settings > General > Date & Time > Set Automatically.
Android: Settings > General Management > Date and Time > Automatic date and time (or Use network-provided time).
5. Check for Special Characters in the Order Form
Emojis or unsupported special characters in the Send Order form (street, number, or extra info fields) can block the upload. Log out of the app, log back in, and review your text fields. Stick to standard letters, numbers, and basic punctuation: . , / : * | - _ ( )
Tips for a Smooth Upload
💡 Keep the app open. CubiCasa supports background uploading and will continue sending your scan if you switch apps or your screen goes to sleep. However, iOS devices may force-stop background tasks if the upload takes too long or uses too much battery. To be safe, keep the app open and active on your screen until the upload reaches 100%.
