How to Rename Floor Labels on Your Floor Plan
Floor labels (e.g. "1st Floor", "Basement") can be renamed directly in QuickEdit to match your property's architecture or local naming conventions.
Rename a Floor Label
Open QuickEdit — navigate to the floor plan you want to edit and open the QuickEdit tool.
Select All Floors — in the floor selector (top-right corner), choose All Floors.
Double-click the floor label you want to rename (e.g. "Floor 1"). The label becomes editable — type your new name (e.g. "Basement" or "Ground Floor").
Click Save to apply your changes.
Reposition a Floor Label
If a label is overlapping content or hard to read, you can move it: single-click the label until the cursor changes to a directional cross, drag it to your preferred location, then click Save.
Toggle a Floor Above or Below Grade
If a floor is incorrectly marked as above or below ground, you can correct it:
Open QuickEdit.
Select the floor you want to update.
Click the Toggle floor level above/below ground icon.
Click OK to confirm, then Save.
Limitations
No default naming conventions — CubiCasa doesn't currently support setting a default starting label (e.g. always starting with "Ground Floor" instead of "1st Floor").
Complex corrections — for edits beyond what QuickEdit supports, submit a Change Request through the order page.
Troubleshooting
Changes not showing? Hard-refresh your browser (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac) or close and reopen the floor plan.
QuickEdit not loading? Make sure you're using Google Chrome on a Windows or Mac computer — QuickEdit doesn't support other browsers or mobile devices.
Note: Floor label positions in GLA reports cannot be changed — they are placed automatically by the system.
