If you need to update room names, adjust space types, hide dimensions, or edit unlabeled rooms, you can manage all label changes directly in the QuickEdit tool.

How to Access the QuickEdit Tool

  1. Log in to your account on our website.

  2. Navigate to Orders using the left sidebar menu.

  3. Select the order you want to edit.

  4. Click Quick Edit on the right side of the screen.

Note: The QuickEdit tool will automatically open in a new browser tab.

How to Change a Room Label

  1. Double-click the label you want to change.

  2. Type your new label name or select an option from the drop-down menu.

  3. Double-check the Space Type setting.

  4. Press Enter to save your changes.

Important: The Space Type determines the room color assigned to that space on your floor plan. Learn more about space types and labels.

How to Remove Space Labels and Dimensions

1. Click the Dimension tool, then double-click the target label to hide its dimensions.

2. Click the label again, clear all text in the top-right field, and press Space + Enter.

How to Edit a Room With No Label and Dimensions

  1. Double-click on the space to open the edit panel.

  2. Update the Name and select the appropriate Space Type.

Use the "Hide Dimension" tool to toggle dimensions on.

GLA Floor Label Placement Logic

GLA floor labels are positioned automatically by the system. The system attempts to fit the label in five specific locations in the following priority order:

  1. Top-most left point

  2. Top-most right point

  3. Bottom-most left point

  4. Bottom-most right point

  5. Center

Note: If an architectural feature or obstruction (such as a fireplace) is located in one of the corner positions (for example, the top-most right point), the label will not fit in positions 1 through 4 and will automatically be placed in the center.

Important: GLA floor labels cannot be modified manually using QuickEdit, as they are automatically positioned by the system. If you want to modify a GLA floor label, we recommend you do that using a third-party program such as Photoshop or Illustrator using the SVG file or a PDF editor.
