How to Edit Floor Plans Using QuickEdit

Learn how to use the free QuickEdit tool to rename rooms, adjust dimensions, modify labels, and edit fixed furniture.

If you need to rename a room, adjust label sizes, or add additional measurements to a completed floor plan, you can use the QuickEdit tool.

  • Note: The QuickEdit tool is accessible for free on any floor plan ordered from us.

How to Access the QuickEdit Tool

To open QuickEdit for an existing order, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account on our web portal.

  2. Click on Order History in the left-side menu.

  3. Open the specific order you would like to edit.

  4. Click on Quick Edit in the right-side menu.

  • Note: The QuickEdit tool will open in a new browser tab.

What You Can Do in QuickEdit

Basic Editing Tools

  1. Adjust label sizes, positions, and orientation

  2. Show or hide space dimensions

  3. Change space labels and space types

  4. Draw lines and additional measurements

  5. Add free text

  6. Set floor levels as above or below grade

  7. Adjust room measurements for listing plans

  8. Zoom in, zoom out, or move the floor plan (by right-clicking and dragging the mouse)

  9. Change floor labels

Fixed furniture

These are only accessible if your order has at least the Plus package.

  • Resize, reorient, move existing fixed furnitures

  • Add and remove fixed furniture

  • Draw custom fixed furniture

System Requirements and Compatibility

Before opening the tool, ensure your setup meets the necessary system requirements:

  • Important: Quick Edit only works on a computer (Windows or MacOS) using the Google Chrome web browser. There are currently no plans to support other platforms or web browsers.
