A draft order acts as a placeholder created in the Web Portal. As a manager, you can enter property details in advance to save time and ensure team members submit scans for the correct properties.
Through your company settings, you can also restrict collaborators so they can only submit scans for draft orders you have created.
Important: You must have a manager role on your account to create or delete draft orders
How to Create a Draft Order
Follow these steps to create a draft order:
Log in to your account on the website.
Click on Create Order on the left side of the screen.
Select Scan.
Enter the property address.
Note: The user can update the address in the app before submitting the scan, if needed.
Select the user’s email address so the order will appear on their phone.
Click Continue.
Select the desired packages and add-ons.
Review the order summary.
Choose the turnaround time.
Note: The Express 6-hour option includes an additional fee.
Click Create Order to finalize.
After submitting the draft order, it will appear on the user’s phone. The user does not get any notification once the draft is created.
The user just needs to log in and create the scan from the draft order or attach an existing scan to the draft before they can submit it.
How to Reassign a Draft Order
If you need to assign an existing draft order to a different user, follow these steps:
Log in to your account on the Web Portal.
Navigate to your draft orders and click on the specific order you want to change.
On the right-side panel, click Reassign order.
In the pop-up modal, click the New Owner field and select the email address of the new user.
Click Reassign Order to confirm.
How to Delete a Draft Order
To remove a draft order from your account, follow these steps:
Log in to your account on the Web Portal as a manager.
Open the specific draft order you wish to remove.
On the right-side panel, click Delete draft.
Important: If you need to know how to delete a draft order and you are not a manager, please contact the manager on your account; they can delete the draft order for you.
